I have been meaning to put this up for a while now but uni projects have got the best of me. This is a digital version of my chalk and rope publication. I should add that I still view this project as unfinished. I just wanted to get an idea how it would translate in print.

Personal Work

I have been working on a series about indoor climbers. To help aid the creative process I have taken an edit from the images so far and produced a newsprint publication. These are the layouts so far.

Personal work - Ongoing

I'm currently working on a personal project around climbing and climbers, which will be a series of portraits, action and detail shots. The plan is to put this together as a newspaper publication.
These are a few test shots I did during the week at Bristol Climbing Centre.

Assisting - 28.10.2011

At the present time I am studying at the University of Gloucestershire, based on a Cheltenham campus. This means that every year when the Cheltenham Literature Festival roles round there are usually a few photographers requiring assistants. This year I was fortunate enough to be introduced too and assist Grareth Iwan Jones http://garethiwanjones.com

This was a fantastic learning experience as I haven't really done editorial portraits before. I was even fortunate enough to be able to set up and shoot my own portrait of jockey Tony McCoy.

This commission was for Action plus sports images, a London based picture agency.

New blog
